The Academy

Copenhagen

No one drives for LuxLimo on their first day. Every chauffeur goes through a training period with us first, so that the standard is the same in every car, on every journey.

New chauffeurs drive alongside experienced ones before they take their own bookings. They learn our routes, our cars and the way we handle the situations that decide whether a journey feels effortless: the delayed flight, the meeting that runs over, the guest who would rather not talk. Training continues after the first journey, not only before it.

Privacy

What is said in the car stays in the car. Chauffeurs are trained not to repeat conversations, not to ask about the purpose of a journey and not to discuss who they drive. Passengers take calls in the back seat because they know this.

Safety

Every chauffeur holds a Danish professional driving licence before joining us. On top of that comes our own training in smooth, defensive driving, because a calm journey is also the safe one. Cars are serviced on schedule and no one drives a car they are not confident in.

Attire

Dark suit, white shirt, polished shoes. The chauffeur is the first thing a guest sees, and the last. Dress is part of the training, down to the details.

The car

Cleaned inside and out before every journey. Still water, phone chargers and an umbrella on board. Temperature set before the guest gets in, not after. Chauffeurs learn our checklist and run it every day.

Etiquette

How to greet a guest, how to handle luggage, when to speak and when to stay quiet. From there, the chauffeur follows the passenger’s lead: conversation if it is wanted, silence if it is not.

Drive with us

We take on a small number of chauffeurs a year, and we train every one of them ourselves. If this is how you already work, we would like to hear from you.
