Terms and conditions
The terms that apply when you book a chauffeur with LuxLimo.
Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who we are
LuxLimo ApS, CVR 43027808, Transformervej 14, 2860 Søborg, Denmark, +45 28 27 15 15, contact@luxlimo.dk.
These terms apply to every journey booked with us by phone, e-mail, WhatsApp, the website or the business portal. A company with a business account also has the agreement it signed with us; where the two differ, that agreement applies.
Booking and confirmation
Tell us when, where, how many guests and cases, and what else travels with you. We reply with a fixed price and the name of your chauffeur, usually within the hour. The booking is binding when you accept the price and we confirm it.
The confirmation states the route, the time, the price and what it includes. Check it and tell us at once if anything is wrong. We are not responsible for a journey that fails because the details we were given were incorrect, and we cannot take a booking without an available car and chauffeur; we tell you straight away if that is the case.
The price
Every journey is a fixed price, agreed before departure, in Danish kroner and including VAT for private customers. It covers the journey as described in the confirmation, including the waiting time stated there, and it does not change because of traffic, the route the chauffeur takes, or a late flight we are tracking.
Extra stops, a longer route or waiting beyond what the confirmation includes are charged at the rates stated in it. If you change the plan during the journey, the chauffeur tells you what it costs before going on.
Cancellation and changes
Cancel free of charge up to one hour before the agreed departure, by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp. For a chauffeur for a day, departure is the agreed start of the booking.
A booking cancelled later than that, or a journey where you do not appear and we cannot reach you, may be charged in full.
Changes to the time or the address before departure are made free of charge when the car is available. If a change makes the journey longer, we agree the new price first.
Waiting time, flights and ships
For an airport pickup we track the flight. The waiting time included in the price runs from the moment the flight lands, and a late flight does not change the price. If the flight is cancelled, tell us: the booking is cancelled at no cost or moved to the new flight. The same applies to a ship that docks late.
For other pickups the included waiting time is stated in the confirmation. Waiting beyond it is charged at the rate stated there. Keep your phone on around the pickup time so the chauffeur can reach you.
Payment
Private customers are told how and when to pay when the booking is confirmed; the confirmation states the payment methods we offer. We do not take card details on the website.
Business accounts are charged per journey and invoiced monthly with a receipt for each journey, under the account agreement. Invoices are due on the date stated on them. After that date we may add interest and reminder fees under the Danish Interest Act.
In the car
Smoking is not allowed in the cars. Everyone wears a seat belt, as Danish law requires, and the chauffeur may wait until belts are on before driving. The number of passengers may not exceed the seats in the car; a child counts as a passenger.
The chauffeur may refuse or end a journey if a passenger endangers safety, is abusive or breaks the law. The journey is then charged.
Damage to the car or soiling caused by a passenger is charged at the cost of repair or cleaning. You are responsible for what you bring; tell us about valuables and fragile items, and the chauffeur loads and secures equipment with care.
We keep items found in the cars and return them on request. Delivery is charged at cost.
Children
Children travel in a child seat or a booster fitted to the age and height you give us when you book. Tell us at booking, so the seat is in the car before pickup. A child can travel without an adult when that is agreed with us at booking, under the terms we agree with you then.
Our liability
We carry out the journey with the care you expect from a professional chauffeur service. Our cars and chauffeurs are licensed and insured for commercial passenger transport in Denmark, and we are liable for loss or damage under Danish law.
We are not liable for delay or failure caused by circumstances outside our control: weather, road closures, accidents, strikes, acts of authorities or other force majeure. If such an event stops a journey, we do what we can to find another solution and do not charge for the part not driven. We are not liable for a missed flight or connection when the pickup time chosen did not allow for the journey; ask us when you book and we advise on the time.
Nothing on this page limits the rights you have under mandatory Danish law.
Complaints
If something was not as it should be, write to contact@luxlimo.dk or call +45 28 27 15 15. We answer as soon as we can and at the latest within 14 days.
If we cannot agree and you are a private customer, you can complain to the Danish consumer complaints body: Center for Klageløsning and Forbrugerklagenævnet, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, www.naevneneshus.dk.
Law and venue
These terms and every booking are governed by Danish law. Disputes are brought before the Danish courts. A private customer can also bring a case before the court of their own home district, as the Danish Administration of Justice Act allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published when you book applies to that booking. The date at the top shows the latest version.
