How LuxLimo handles personal data when you book, write to us, open a business account or apply to drive with us.
Last updated 13 October 2026.
Who is responsible
LuxLimo ApS, CVR 43027808, Transformervej 14, 2860 Søborg, Denmark is the data controller for the personal data described on this page.
Questions about your data go to contact@luxlimo.dk or +45 28 27 15 15. We answer within a month, usually much sooner.
What we collect, and why
When you book or ask for a price
Your name, phone number and e-mail address, the pickup and destination addresses, the date and time, the flight or ship, the number of guests and cases, and what you tell us about the journey: a child's age for a seat, equipment that travels with you, a note for the chauffeur. We use it to quote, confirm and carry out the journey, to reach you and your chauffeur on the day, and to invoice.
When you write to us
By the contact form, e-mail, phone or WhatsApp. We keep your message and your contact details to answer you and to follow up.
When a company opens a business account
The contact person's name, work e-mail and phone number, the company name and CVR number, and the expected number of journeys per month. We use it to set up and run the account and to invoice monthly.
When you apply to drive with us
What you give us in the application form, your city and phone number, and what you send afterwards: CV, licence details, references. We use it to assess your application and to contact you about it.
When you visit the website
Our hosting provider logs technical data such as the IP address, the browser and the time of each request, to deliver the pages and keep them secure. With your consent, Google Analytics collects statistics about how the site is used. See the cookie policy.
We collect only what we need, and we do not ask for payment card details on the website.
Legal basis
- Quotes, bookings and journeys: the contract with you, and the steps you ask for before it, GDPR article 6(1)(b).
- Business accounts: the contract with the company and our legitimate interest in administering it, article 6(1)(b) and (f).
- Enquiries: our legitimate interest in answering you, article 6(1)(f).
- Applications: the steps before an employment contract and our legitimate interest in recruiting, article 6(1)(b) and (f).
- Bookkeeping: our legal obligation under the Danish Bookkeeping Act, article 6(1)(c).
- Website logs and security: our legitimate interest in running a secure website, article 6(1)(f).
- Statistics cookies: your consent, article 6(1)(a) and the Danish cookie rules. You can withdraw it at any time.
Who processes data for us
These companies process personal data on our behalf, under data processing agreements. They act on our instructions only.
- Vercel Inc. hosts the website and runs the function that sends the forms. Server logs are kept briefly, for security.
- Resend Inc. delivers the e-mails that the forms generate to our mailbox.
- Usercentrics A/S (Cookiebot) stores your cookie choice and shows the consent banner.
- Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics) collects usage statistics, and only after you have accepted statistics cookies.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) carries the conversation if you choose to write to us there. Meta processes your use of WhatsApp under its own terms; we see your number and your messages.
We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it on to anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Transfers outside the EU
Vercel and Google are based in the United States. Transfers to them rest on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which both companies are certified under, with the European Commission's standard contractual clauses as a fallback. Resend is also based in the United States; that transfer rests on the standard contractual clauses in its data processing agreement. Cookiebot stores data in the EU.
Google does not store full IP addresses in Analytics, and the statistics we receive do not identify you.
How long we keep data
- Bookings, invoices and the correspondence behind them: five years from the end of the financial year, as the Bookkeeping Act requires.
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: until the enquiry is closed, and at the latest twelve months after our last contact.
- Business accounts: for as long as the account is open, then as bookings above.
- Applications: six months after the position is filled or the application declined, unless you ask us to keep it for later openings.
- Server logs: briefly, as set by the hosting provider.
- Cookies: see the cookie policy and the declaration there.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time for:
- Access: a copy of the personal data we hold about you and what we use it for.
- Rectification: correction of data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erasure: deletion of your data, unless we must keep it, for example under the Bookkeeping Act.
- Restriction: that we stop using your data while a question about it is settled.
- Objection: to processing based on our legitimate interest.
- Data portability: the data you gave us, in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdrawal of consent: for statistics cookies, through Cookie settings in the footer. Earlier processing stays lawful.
Write to contact@luxlimo.dk. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act on a request.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, tell us first and we will put it right where we can. You can also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency: Datatilsynet, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, +45 33 19 32 00, dt@datatilsynet.dk, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Security
The website is served over HTTPS, the forms go straight to our mailbox and nothing is stored on the website itself. Access to bookings and correspondence is limited to the people who handle them.
Changes
We update this page when something changes in how we handle data. The date at the top shows the latest version.
